A new twist to this classic dip, broccomole is made with broccoli freshly cooked, to obtain that smooth creamy texture and unique flavor. Bright green and full of flavor broccomole is ideal to add to parties and you can make lots of it at t fraction of the price or real guacamole.

Ingredients to make Broccomole
3 cups of broccoli florets
1 jalapeño pepper
2 tablespoon of green onions
1 teaspoon olive oil
2 ounces non-fat cream cheese
1 tablespoon cilantro
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
How to cook broccomole – Step by Step
COOK broccoli in water with a pinch of salt until is very soft.
DRAIN broccoli really well with a strainer until it contains no water
PULSE broccoli in a food processor.
ADD the rest of the ingredients, jalapeño pepper, green onion, cream cheese, cilantro, salt and pepper. Pulse until soft, add olive oil if you prefer a softer texture.
SPRINKLE the top with the cayenne pepper
PLACE in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours
